This notice explains how LH3D Print & Design ("we") uses your information. We are the data controller. Contact: see the bottom of this page.

What we collect

Your dog's photo, your name, email address, delivery address, and the details you choose for your bust (dog's name, size, finish, gift message). If you leave a review, what you write and any photo you add.

Why we use it

  • To make your preview and your order, take payment, post it and keep you updated by email (needed to carry out what you asked for).
  • To save your previews so you can come back and order later.
  • Offers and reminders, only if you tick the box to receive them. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Pictures in our adverts: pictures of your dog and finished bust, only when nothing identifies you (see our terms). Ask us to stop at any time.
  • To keep the shop safe from abuse and automated misuse (our legitimate interest).
  • To keep sales records, because the law requires it.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop: Stripe (payments), the image and 3D-model service that turns your photo into a preview and model (PiAPI, which may process it outside the UK), Cloudflare (which delivers the website and runs the "I am not a robot" check), our email provider, Trello (where we track orders), and Evri (delivery: your name and address). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

  • Previews you did not order, with their photos: deleted after 180 days.
  • The 3D video sent with a preview: deleted as soon as it has been emailed.
  • Your delivery address, phone number and surname: removed 60 days after your bust is posted (long enough to sort out a lost or damaged parcel). Your first name, email and what you ordered are kept for 6 years for our accounts.
  • The photo and 3D files may be kept with the order so a bust can be remade.
  • Your account: until you delete it from the My account page.

Visits to the site

We count visits without cookies and without tracking you across other websites. We note which pages are viewed, roughly where a visit came from (for example Facebook or Google), the type of device, and whether it led to a preview or an order. Each day a visitor is just a code that changes the next day, and your internet address is never saved. Signing in to your account uses one cookie that is needed for the sign-in to work.

On your device: so you do not lose your work if you leave the site, your browser keeps your basket, your email address and the bust you are making (including a smaller copy of your photo) on this device for up to 14 days. Nothing else can see it. "Start again" on the preview page clears it, and so does clearing your browser data.

Security

The site only works over an encrypted connection (https). Card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number. Sign-in uses emailed links instead of passwords, your photos are stored privately and only shown through links that are hard to guess, and we use an "I am not a robot" check and limits on how often things can be requested to stop automated misuse.

No website can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted or accessed by others. Please do not include private information in your photos (such as faces of people, house numbers or documents). If you think something is wrong, or you find a security problem, please email us straight away; if there is ever a breach that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office as the law requires.

Your rights: get a copy of your data, or delete it

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. The quickest way is My account, where you can change your details, delete single previews, download a copy of your data or delete your account. Or ask here and we will email you a secure link (it only goes to the address you used with us):

We will reply to any request within one month. Paid orders are kept for 6 years for our accounts, as the law requires, but we stop using them for anything else. If you are unhappy with how we handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
